Congressman Joe Wilson stopped the world with a shout this week when he yelled, “You lie!” at Obama. That came after ‘The One’ stated that illegal immigrants would not be covered in his healthcare plan. Wilson’s two words, now famous, came out with a curious authority that was more than just an outburst. Orlean Koehle, President of Eagle Forum of California, forwarded an email to me from Allen Ide of Deleware that explains the oomph behind the shout:

In a rambling speech regarding the excellence of Obama’s Health Scare Plan (9/9/09), one congressman, Joe Wilson (R-SC) struggled to keep himselfl in order until Obama stated; “Illigal immigrants will not receive healthcare coverage.” That was [the] one mis-statement too many that propelled the congressman to yell out for the world to hear, “You lie!”

The Lion of the Senate was lionized by worshipers, politicians, the legal profession and the media after his roar was silenced on August 25th. Everyone expected this as Ted Kennedy had been in a fierce battle with a brain tumor which he fought valiantly. And this writer waited until a respectable time of mourning had taken place before making a comment.
The Bible makes it clear that we humans are to tend the garden as he instructed Adam and Eve. We must take care of the Earth we occupy. Man has been so lax, so careless, that we are now in danger of making the earth uninhabitable.

Attention San Francisco! GOD TV is now the eye-in-the-sky that is watching you. GOD TV has just launched on Comcast Cable in the City by the Bay which has the possibility of reaching one million homes. This past weekend, a mass crusade was scheduled to be aired from the city to the entire Bay Area as well as to almost half a billion homes worldwide. And the core of it all, is love, the love of Jesus that wants to bless and give peace to every single one there.
