Rev. Austin Miles, a chaplain in Northern California is a writer and historian. He is the author of Santa's Surprising Origins, a story that received worldwide circulation and resulted in him being cast in the 2004 Hallmark Christmas Movie titled, Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus. He played the mall Santa who magically received the gift of sign language.

Indeed, it wasn’t that long in the space of history from its inception that the original church split into two factions, Catholic and Orthodox and from there, off it went. It could all have been prevented if “called ministers of God” would honor God and His Word as true and the ultimate authority, instead of trying to shape it all in their image to please the itching ears of their congregations….

Many would imagine that a Christian Newspaper in California would be as popular as a black widow spider with buck teeth. California is known as the ultimate Progressive State. However, America’s Good News has crashed through that barrier in the Bay Area with a circulation of 39,000 (and growing) in the northern part of the state.
